We cooked most night so it was very handy having a cooker, full fridge, cooking appliance and utensils. They cleaned our room once for our long stay. Nice view of canal though it’s very short. Interesting shops along the walking street. Great sweet cafes! The music box museum is more like souvenir shop. About a half day should be enough time to explore Otaru.
