The apartment is clean and spacious, with working appliances and facilities. However, the interiors (walls, doors, furniture) are quite worn and don’t match the photos. There’s also a lingering fried food smell, mentioned by other guests, that hasn’t been resolved. Communication before check-in was difficult and could be improved. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay if expectations are lowered, but I wouldn’t recommend it for families with young children due to the atmosphere. This feedback is only about this particular unit, not all of the host’s properties.

Do NOT Stay at VISIONAPARTMENTS in Zurich!!

Do NOT stay at VISIONAPARTMENTS in Zurich!! It smells really bad inside, loud creaky floors, no elevator, no A/C, no safety latches on main door. This apartment is immediately above 2 restaurants, and the smell and stench of fried food, etc. is super strong inside the apartment. The smell is TERRIBLE and left a smell over everything we had, even inside our suitcases...it was difficult to even sleep the smell kept us awake. The floors in the bedroom/main area are creaky and very loud. There is no safety latch or deadbolt from inside the apartment at all. If someone were to know the code to get in, there is nothing to prevent a stranger from entering the apartment in the middle of the night...NOT SAFE! To be fair, the description says no elevator, but want readers to be aware of this fact also, as you will be going up flights of stairs. Also, the description does not list air conditioning, but want the readers to be aware that there is NOT any A/C. There are 2x fans inside the apartment for use though...but they still don't get rid of the stench / smell inside the apartment, even w/ the windows open to get a breeze. I highly recommend NOT staying at VISIONAPARTMENTS in Zurich!! We left a day early because we could not stand it any longer, and of course they would not give us back any of our money for departing early either.
