"It was a nice place to stay.. nothing fancy but it had everything we needed and it was only a 5 min walk to the train station which we needed the next day! So it was all around, good, clean, great staff and nice breakfast! "

"Close to alilaguna and vaporetto stations, close to main square and tourist attractions, it doesn’t include breakfast. Hotel decor is classic at the reception, room with painted hearts and mirrors seems a little out of the norm. But OK. Free cold fresh lemonade available after a long walk."

"Perfect location near San Marco. Excellent spot to watch the gondoliers, and centrally located. Staff were very helpful. Room was extremely clean and the daily housekeeping was very efficient. Good AC. I was in a small single room and it was on the 4th floor with no elevator for the last two floors but it was just fine for me. Some minor quibbles: not a lot of common space to hang out in, and the breakfast was not the best quality but it was fine."

"We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the airport - we had an early flight. We needed to leave before their airport shuttle service started so we hired a taxi for €45. We had arrived by train as the hotel is adjacent to the station. Although our room overlooked the station we never heard the trains. We also took a 10 minute train ride to Mestre to visit a museum. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a bar area that also serves light lunch items. The restaurant opens at 1900. The meal and service were great. "

"Great place. We were nervous staying off-site from Venice, but this location proved perfect. Took front desk's advice and bought a three-day pass for bus service. The bus stop was just down the block and bus service (#5) was pretty regular from both directions. The room was great. It was four of us (2 adults, 2 kids 11/13.) Though a bit tight, it really worked for us. Only thing is Europe as a whole has to start installing screens in their windows. Not sure why they love open window, but when we opened window for fresh air and left, we came back to fight off 20 mosquitos in our room (kids counted). Kept windows closed after that. The restaurant on bottom floor was great! Best of our trip. (Lamb was, for sure). Breakfast each morning was perfect for our plans. Oh, they also got us our taxi on time for ride to train station. There was an airport pickup plan (directions to call hotel when we found pick-up location), but we stumbled upon their Hotel Antony shuttle before calling, so that worked out easier than it should have. Perfect choice. Probably something comparable on Venice islands, but I seriously doubt the price would have been."

"Beautifully furnished, clean hotel rooms in the heart of Venice. Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to all major attractions. Would not hesitate to stay here again."
