"The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the dock and main part of town. Tucked away in a shopping/dining area. It is a hidden gem! Decor was great, very clean, staff was super friendly and accommodating. Price was very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend. "

"When we booked this was rated as 4-star. Plenty of space, comfortable bed and nice friendly owners, but 4-star it isn't. We were also lead to believe that it was in walking distance of various restaurants but there was nothing - the nearby hotel had a beach bar/restaurant but that closed for the season during our stay (in September?). Views over a building site! The photos on the Villa's website include several that are actually of the mentioned hotel, not Villa Nico and it's own facilities."

"Top stay at Ambassador Split - hotel was very quiet (hey, it was January) but service top notch and the rooms are beautiful. Special shout out to Allum who was in charge of the truly amazing breakfasts. Location is excellent - just off the Rive."

"The location of this hotel is excellent, and there is a variety of pillows to choose from for a great night's sleep. The room and bathroom are fully equipped, with strong water pressure and hot water for a relaxing shower. The breakfast menu is delicious, and you can order whatever you like.
