"After staying at different hotels of varying quality at varying prices for around two months now, I can say definitively that for the purpose of a relaxed and worthwhile trip, Hotel Gwarna is the best option I have found in all of Europe. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and not just for the hotel- the attached gym and restaurant provide a way to counter the number one thing that made me homesick in Europe, being able to eat (sort of) at home and going to the gym. Combined with the wonderful city around it and easy access to all that one could hope for in terms of convenience, this hotel will give you the best experience available for the most reasonable price. If you're looking for the luxury hotel experience and have a budget to stick to, stay awhile in Legnica at Hotel Gwarna ;) "

Hotel was clean - the only disappointment was that the bathroom extractor fan didn't work, so very warm air entered the bedroom. Also, the shower curtain was old and not pleasant to use - shower curtains should be obsolete in good hotels! The safety handle above the bath was loose. It was very warm and the aircon is limited to 21deg C - far too warm. We roasted! Putting this aside, there was excellent secure parking and the food, room and staff were so pleasant that we elected to stay another night. A change immediately and pleasantly accommodated by our hosts."

"The Garden Hotel is outdated and old, but that’s part of its charm. It perfect if you are traveling by car. We were here for pottery shopping; the area is otherwise remote. The town square has been revitalized and looks way more “happening” than it did 7 years ago when last we were there The staff and food at the Garden Hotel are welcoming. Unless you need an elevator, I would recommend this hotel "

"We were going to check in and the front desk lady was great, after discussions with her we upgraded to the castle about 200m away and it was amazing. However we rode horses at this location and enjoyed the great pizza and beer. The whole property was very quiet and enjoyable, grass needed to be mowed but still amazing. We also enjoyed the stable employees and riding horses. loved our stay in the castle as well, overall great experince."
