"The swimming pool, bar and beach were very nice and I enjoyed them very much. The apartment looks fine on the surface, however, under the counter or inside the drawers was a completely different situation. The flat was spacious and the bedroom and living room looked good and had new furniture. The kitchen and bathroom not so much and needed refurbishing. Added to this the kitchen was not functioning. "This is a true gem. The owners were wonderful. They called to check on me and even surprised me with dinner a couple nights (which was amazing). The bed was comfortable, the air conditioner worked well. I will surely stay there again. The WiFi signal was the best I have ever experienced in The Gambia. I highly recommend it. They told me they are opening a restaurant in December which will be great. "
