"Beautiful property gutted we didn’t have time to sample the food as we used this for a stay with the local York half marathon. Would definitely stay again and very dog friendly for our little pooch."

"The location was close to the harbour area and the room was lovely. The only downside was that the room was on the second floor of an old Victorian 3 storey house and the stairs were a feat in themselves. Also the parking was difficult to sort out as we had to drive to the tourist information building in the town down by the harbour. Once sorted, parking outside the property was easy. The main reception area was welcoming and had lots of complimentary breakfast cereals and hot drinks available....

"Very friendly Management , it’s definitely budget but decent room , good location for a one night stop in the area . Nice cooked breakfast . I’d stay again if I needed another one night stop . "

"Fantastic little find and will definitely stay again. I would highly recommend this little gem of a place with such friendly staff. The wee lodges were epic. My only criticism was not knowing the wee pub across the road, the Stavely Arms isnrun by the same team, as we would have dinner there had we known. The breakfast was epic, and the bed was super comfy. Well worth the money we spent both on the accomodation and in the bar."
