"We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. "It’s truly a great hotel with super breakfast and a small kids club. The gym is super, one of the best I have ever seen in Asia. One thing to note, there are several mosques in close proximity… as a result you might hear the prayer callings at 4 am in the morning. "

"We liked the Colonial architecture, and the size of our rooms was very spacious. Great views of the rice fields, its lush greenery landscapes. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast buffet. Nice variety for us. Also the staff were very welcoming and it had a cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. "
