"Madeleine (previous owner) had a great hospitality instinct which the renovations manifest but still need refining. The room had not been properly prepared for my arrival but this was remedied when brought to notice. Shower floors are slippery and need a non skid mat. There were no towel rails in the bathroom or main room and without these eco friendly claims diminish. Room comfortable and met my needs in its renovated form. I note renovations are a work in progress in respect of the gardens...

"Property was filthy bins full of stinking rubbish. Rooms were old and musty smelling. Fridge did not work. Sheets were clean. Around the property was dirty, looked like it hadn't had maintenance for 1 years, looked and smelt like a third world accommodation. If it wasn't a long weekend public holiday and all accom was booked out in area l would have forgone the nights cost and went somewhere else. "

"The room was better than expected with some added improvements such as artwork on every wall, bedside tables that doubled as a comfortable chairs. Good water pressure and temperature in the shower, and the split system heating and cooling was a breeze. I am very impressed with the little things that just made my stay that little bit more enjoyable. I'll be returning for a future stay if required. Overall it was comfortable, affordable and a pleasant place to stay."
