"Staying at The Victoria feels like actually being in a real old school hotel, not just a cookie cutter "could be anywhere" box. So close to the heart of Melbourne, a flower stall just around the corner and a tiki bar 5 steps across the road - perfect"

"Lovely big room but the outlook was over the centre of the building. Would have preferred an outside view. There was an annoying noise which I think related to the lifts. Room felt a bit dated and there needed to be some lights on nightstands. Location was great but there was a sewer smell in the area which permeated through the entrance lifts which wasn’t pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Staff were all helpful and friendly. "

"Very nice hotel with great facilities. The suite was extremely well-kept with two separate rooms, one living room area and one bedroom with a very spacious double-bed. It has a great breakfast spread as well."

"The rooms are big and and clean. the view from our window is okay. the parking is a bit tight, we got a hilux ute. parking fee was $19 daily. But there is an option to park, unsecure right across the hotel free from 8pm- 8am. the staff were friendly. there has been some glitches in their system so that I got extra charges for deposits and rooms (i booked 3 rooms for myself and our families) which the staff were very accommodating to help out with an explanation. i will still be checking my credit card charges on this. over all, it was a good stay. "
