"DO NOT STAY HERE! Perhaps once upon a time, when the owners werent tired, grumpy and rude, this place may have been a great place for young families to stay and enjoy everything it said on the brochure. Now only local workmen 'live' there. We arrived to a run down, very dated scene and what first hit me when walking in, was the smell. Dust and old. Neat and tidy but very dusty. Back garden was cluttered with all sorts of stuff. Couldn't use the bbq due to plant cuttings and rubbish all over it....

"A fantastic stay - everything was really clean and beautiful. beds were comfy. pool was really nice. good air conditioning and wifi. downsides were you almost need a 4wheel drive car to get up the driveway, and you must do your own cleaning at the property."

"Our stay was very enjoyable the pool was very welcoming on a hot day Carmen the owner was lovely and very accommodating she was a pleasure to meet and I would recommend the Spanish lodge to everyone who loves pets as we had a small dog that Carmen welcomed superbly."
