"Avoid at all cost! This should already been removed from the website. It has turn into a bird nest. It has speakers board casting bird call 24 hours a day. We arrived late at night heard the noise though it was from the mountain behind the hotel but no, it was from the speaker cross our room! Could sleep all night!!!!"

"The overall experience of just being there is just surreal! The whole staff made our stay feels like home. Very professional and are always smiling. The food is 10/10! I would definitely go back for the views, people and food! "

"This was an absolutely great find. After traveling through Thailand for about three weeks and experiencing all kinds of different hotels, this was like stumbling into an oasis. The property was clean, the room was large and modern, and it had a balcony with an great view to boot. The woman at the front desk went above and beyond. She helped us set up a private boat tour of the lake, as well as arranging taxis for us throughout our stay. Would 100% stay here again."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. There was a small breakfast included which consisted of toast, egg, fruit and coffee / hot chocolate. The hotel is in the country so there isn’t much around. It is next to the river and close to the dam. There were a few restaurants a short drive away. "

"Clean space with amenities in line with the price/as advertised. To be fair, this is one of the better lodging options near the airport. However, this hotel was far away from any dining/convenience store, and delivery was pretty much not available after 7pm. There were also no GrabTaxi available in the morning, but this is apparently normal and the hotel staff offered to drive us. The hotel restaurant also closes at 6pm but the hotel does have water/drinks for sale after. And a nice small free...

Brilliant

"Great stay here, we stayed for one night and got very lucky with the weather as it rained the morning we left. The staff are all super friendly the room was nice, nothing fancy but as expected. Clean room and comfy bed. We saw wild elephants which was a huge treat. Thoroughly recommend this place as an experience. "

"All of the staff were so kind! They give you their Whatsapp so you can message them whenever you need anything. They can help with transportation, and when I told them that I was going to buy new sandals cause mine broke, they gave me a ride there on the back of one of their scooters for free! The view is the best I had in all of Thailand, and that is not an exaggeration. Wake up early for the sunrise... You will not regret it.if you do not have a scooter or a car it is a little difficult to walk anywhere. There is a gorgeous garden cafe at the top of the hill, but it is a 15 or so minute walk uphill. They can call you a taxi whenever you would like as well if needed. It is very easy to get to the pier to get boat tours around the lake. I would definitely reccoment to stay here!"

"We arrived late at night post checking out the night night market at Surat Thani as check in available until 23.45 :) Please be awake: black elephant boutique and 88 fine hotel are combined. We booked a room in 88 fine hotel and was expecting to sleep in one of the detached rooms as per photos in the booking- however we stayed on the second floor of the black elephant boutique. The stairs are very steep- so would recommend when booking to book first floor if needed! Other than that- room very comfortable- one of th best beds and pillows of this trip so far! Very quiet at night - Couldn't hear the planes or cars. However can hear the people next to us when they are in the bathroom. Coffee and toast with jelly brought to your room at requested time upon check in :). "
