"Arrived at the Convivial on 8/29/2024. A sign said to call a cell phone, no one around. Not a good start for a place named "convivial". Someone came down and showed us a room with stained carpets, stained curtains, stained towels, dark bathroom that wasn't clean. Carpeted stairs had stains. The carpets everywhere looked worn and not vacuumed. The doors to the rooms were plain wooden doors you might have in your house. One of them had a crack in it that you could see light come through. "Pros: An excellent hotel at a gorgeous beach by the pine forest. Unlimited sea view from the beautiful stylish big rooms. Private beach with free premium sunbeds. Fine dining restaurant. Cons: Restaurant service stuff was inexperienced. Music playing from 10am till after midnight is loud passes in the main building front rooms. The Sikelianios villa restaurant was closed (2024), villa was unaccessible. Overall, highly recommended. "

"The hotel was vey nice and clean. Location was convenient. Breakfast had lots of choices. Right across from the beach. Parking was easy and right in front of the hotel. "

Perfect place just to relax or to spend a day in between Patras and Athens or south Peloponnese. Highly recommended!"

"Great boutique hotel directly across the road from the beach. Walking distance to everything you need including cafes and dining options and local shopping. Private parking available which was very handy. Rooms are neat and efficient but had everything we requried or a 2 night stay. The hotel staff were great and breakfast is so peaceful sitting in the outdoor courtyard each morning. Will stay again on our next trip to Xylokastro."
