The pricing on food and beverages is somewhat above what is already expected for this level of hotel, leaving an unfortunate sensation of being overpriced, this causes guests to seek better dining options outside the property, of which there are plenty in Antigua. "My room was perfect. The many courtyards are very well kept, very charming. Even though no AC there is a ceiling fan great screens on windows, I was always comfortable. It was about 5 blocks to main plaza and walkable although sidewalks are not at all flat and the cobblestone roads are extremely bumpy. I would not want to push a stroller or wheelchair. I’d say not a good town for that. But I would definitely stay here again. "

We upgraded to the exquisite jr. suite #11 that looked out over the pool & dining room that was so beautiful we wished we could have extended our stay.
