Gracie Art Hotel was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay for my short visit to Beijing. It is located right on the edge of the 798 Art Zone which offers a lot, although it seemed like most attractions close pretty early and the lighting on the paths late at night is very dim. The staff was very helpful in checking me in and ordering cabs and finding late night food or drinks. Would recommend!

From the time we entered the XinXiangYaYuan Courtyard hotel through the impressive red doors we were treated wonderfully and felt like part of the family during our 6 nights at the hotel. The breakfasts had a wide range of delicious local and western foods, and the afternoon teas had lovely sweets and fruits. Our kids loved making coloured candy floss with the friendly staff. We loved how convenient the location was, a few minutes walk to either Dongsi or DengshiKou metro stations. While it looks like a traditional hutong accommodation from outside, and beautifully decorated and complemented with goldfish and tweeting birds, the inside is super modern and comfortable with its smart toilet and lighting. We loved our stay, and the delightful service, and would love to come back.

Stayed here three nights with family, the room very clean and nice stuff in the room, walkable to most tourist attractions, great experience highly recommended!

We traveled with our 10 year old son, and a couple friends of us. We stayed at a Suite, and our friends did too. We were picked up at the airport right after coming out of our flight by the hotel person, and he went with us to get the luggage, and then to the van that transported us to the hotel. We've never experienced this, because usually the person from the hotel is waiting for us outside, after we pick up the luggage. That's how we got started with this hotel: "Impecable Professionalism". My husband called it: "mind -boggling" and "unexpected surprise". After traveling around the world from the very best hotels in Dubai to Singapore, we are pleased to say that the service, food quality, professionalism, and beauty that we experienced in this hotel completely changed our perspective about what a 5 star hotel really should be. Additionally, they've had a Michelin Star restaurant for the past few years, which lives up to its title. The chef there really cares about the guests liking the food that he cooks. Thanks to the team at the Lounge for their AMAZING service and details, thanks to the chefs, thanks to incredible housekeeping, and SPECIAL THANKS to Jeff, the Manager of this hotel, because his leadership was evident within all the staff. We also want to thank him for his details and professionalism that he displayed to us from the beginningand until the end....Simply, an Unbelievable Experience. We look forward to our return.
