"We had a wonderful weekend here and can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful property lovingly restored. The owners were perfect hosts and the hotel and gardens are a calming oasis in the middle of town. We will try to visit Ghent again in a quieter time and will definitely head for the B&B The Verhaegen. "

"We had an amazing time here, such a lovely place and really warm despite it being winter! The breakfast was amazing, a basket of goodies to tuck into with all the required utilities in the kitchenette. Parking was great with an option for EV charging. The city centre was just 10 minutes away by foot and very easy to find. Highly recommend this place, would definitely stay again."

"Felt like we had our own little apartment in the heart of Ghent. Was clean and had a nice "Honesty Bar" where you could grab drinks and snacks and just write down what you took to pay at the end. "We only stayed for one night whilst the Christmas market was on. Hotel is very convenient to the centre and trams are a short walk away. The gentleman on reception was lovely and very helpful. "B&B Hotel Gent Centrum is as the name suggests very central and therefore close to many of the attractions of Ghent. Price was really reasonable and the breakfast is €15 per day and worth it (but might be cheaper if booked beforehand). No issues with quietness or comfort. One problem though - the shower head was leaking and therefore had very weak flow."

Excellent, very friendly and helpfulreceptionists!

"The staff went above and beyond to fullfil all my needs. The temperature in the room was rather cold (very cold weather outside) and I couldn't figure out how the air con works. The receptionist listened to me carefully and then then sent someone to only adjust the temperature in the room but left an additional heating unit in my room should if I need it. the only reason I gave 4 starts for comfort was the noise from outside. The location is central and I had a wonderful view from my room. It was just a bit loud. Maybe should have brought earplugs. Apart from that, both receptionists I had the pleasure of talking to were extremely welcoming, nice and polite. Really appreciate it, thank you! :)"
