"Upon arrival we realized this is not a farm but a little small holding. All units less than 15 feet from each other. A Large Barn is also right opposite the cottages where workers are staying. Drawers in kitchen not in good condition, small stove in a terrible condition. Dead ants in the cupboard. The Sunday morning the workers who stay in the barn opposite the cottages were painting and playing terrible and very loud music. This was not a nice Sunday morning on a farm. Lovely stay, comfortable rooms

"We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon and it was lovely. Unfortunately we were hit with horrible food poisoning on the day we checked in (through no fault of the guesthouse!!) and had to cancel plans and stayed in our room most of the day. But the silver lining was that the room was very comfortable and helped us get through the worst of the food poisoning!! I highly recommend a 13 hour fever-induced sleep here. The amenities were great - the breakfast was delicious, one of the best we had on our whole trip. It's very conveniently located to the center of Franschhoek town. We (somewhat naively) walked back from the wine tram, though I wouldn't recommend this - we encountered some questionable characters and were harassed a bit. Taxis/ubers here are very cheap, would recommend that instead! Loved the guesthouse and would go back if given the chance!"

"Short & easy walk to Franschhoek where you can find restaurants & shopping. This little gem is a clean and well cared for property, the pool was great for cooling off after a hot day. The managers were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, large selection of foods and hot breakfast items. "

"This hotel deserves a much better rating on Expedia! We just returned from a night and a day in the Provençal Suite. The room and hotel generally are immaculate with all facilities you could want set among pristine gardens. The private plunge pool was a wonderful way to enjoy the view along with the complementary bottle of wine they provided in the room. We ate at the restaurant, which was delicious and breakfast was also excellent will all options you would expect or want. We travelled as a couple and would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone visiting Franshoek. Thank you to the lovely staff who were very welcoming."
