"A lovely 2 day break at the lakes, so peaceful and relaxing. Spa is great too and we pretty much had it to ourselves most of the time. Food in the tipi was also great, would have liked to have seen some more sweet breakfast and healthy options though. It would also be great if there was an on-site shop to buy any groceries/essentials to save having to drive elsewhere."

"We had a great stay at The Old Fleece. The apartment is spacious with everything you require and fairly priced for 2 bedrooms. The living area was a great space for relaxing in the evening as we put our 2 year old to sleep in the bedroom. The pub downstairs served us great food and we could even take pints back up to our room to watch the football. "

"We loved this place as soon as we set our eyes on it, both from the outside and the inside. Plenty of space in all rooms and everything else that you'd need, from wood to make a fire to a few biscuits and tea. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely grounds too. Not too far from the hills for walking or visiting nearby villages and towns. Plenty of local walks too. The pub up the road, The Butchers Arms serves excellent food as well as drinks. All in all, an excellent place to stay. Thank you. "

"The room was very spacious, with a large comfortable bed, walk in wardrobe area and a large en-suite with an enormous bath and separate shower. There was a kettle and choice of teas and coffee, although no biscuits or snacks or bottles of water. We were however given complimentary water to take back to the room when we asked at the bar. "The Churchill comprises two buildings - the hotel accommodation in one ( as shown in the photo ) and a pub/restaurant a very short walk away . The latter offers a normal bar and reasonably priced meals . The hotel itself is well located a couple of miles from a junction on the M4. It is quiet ( the motorway can be seen in the far distance ) and the rooms are modern with a well equipped bathroom and a comfortable bed. "
