"Great place for a mountain lodge. Rooms are clean many seem refurbished recently. Excellent location close to trails. The restaurant is also quite good."
"Took an impromptu trip with my husband for the weekend and while on Skyline Drive we were fortunate that Big Meadows had some vacancies. Absolutely loved the lodge. Room was wonderful and the staff was exceptional nice. The property was great for hiking and enjoying nature. We encountered a lot of deer and chipmunks around the lodge which we enjoyed watching. The on site restaurant and store was nice. This was our first stay at Big Meadows and we will definitely stay there again!"
"Really nothing I didn’t like. Check in was friendly, quick, and painless. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed that led to a good nights sleep. They have an indoor pool, but I did not use it. I would stay here again."
