" We very much enjoyed the Blake and intend to return when back in NH. Special thanks to Lori (Laurie?) at the desk, who always was especially pleasant and helpful. We loved the kitchenette, with dishwasher, although china is sparse. Also appreciated the eco friendly attempts, like no plastic cups or cutlery. Water in kitchen faucet is filtered to reduce need for plastic bottles. The one big problem that should be addressed is lighting around the bathroom mirror. It’s impossible to do hair and makeup and my husband had trouble shaving. Housekeeping cleans rooms daily and everything was spotless. Towels are exceptionally thick and absorbent. Great shower. We recommend the bar and restaurant. Decor is arts & crafts, so simple but very elegant, unique atmosphere! Great location for us, in downtown NH, very short walk to Yale art museums, restaurants, and the beautiful Yale campus, chapels and Sterling Library. Sent from my iPhone"

"The gentleman who checked me in was perfect in every way. I stay in hotels a lot he was the best. I already forgot his name starts with a j. Breakfast was ok. There are places to eat in the area. I had a beautiful room"

"The lady staff member who checked us in was WONDERFUL! She went above and beyond! Male next night was not as nice or welcoming but everyone else was. Place is gorgeous, pool water is warm and heavenly. That male staff member on 2nd night made us feel like criminals for staying in water at 10:01pm! The female gave us time to dry off and sit and relax, the guy could not wait to lock the door!! Rude! Like it really mattered! Overall would stay again and again. Great location, great food nearby, great spacious basic room. Very comfortable and dogs and humans both felt very welcomed:)"
