"I have booked for 6 nights. When I saw how dirty was the bathroom and that there was no light from the outside ( the room looks like a prison cell), I called hotels.com immediately to cancel my booking for the 5 remaining nights. They couldn't reach the manager and nobody answered their calls. In the morning, before checking out, the staff was able to join the manager by phone. "Dieses Guesthouse kann man nicht empfehlen. Seruni kennt niemand vor Ort. Am Haus steht ASTUNGKARA - Uns wurde zunächst eine Besenkammer zugewiesen, obwohl Twin-Bed gebucht, nur ein Kingbett. Nach Beschwerde und bösen Blicken anderes Zimmer erhalten. Ohne Handtücher und Toilettenpapier. Das haben wir uns dann selbst organisiert. Niemand war vor Ort. Angeblich weil ein hinduistisches Fest sei. - Die Bettwäsche war zwar neuwertig aber schmutzig. In der zweiten Nacht traf ein Ehepaar aus...

"This is the best place to stay in the central city, especially if you want to walk around and enjoy the beauty of Malang. The property is in a quiet, lovely, neighborhood, but close enough to walk to car free day, the market at Oro-Oro Dowo, and the Malabar City Forest, as well as other places around Jalan Semeru. The rooms are spacious and super clean with beds with nice linens, the staff is always friendly and they treat guests with kindness."

"The place is a little rundown. Constructions around the house were so noisy. Bathroom looks dirty or old. Many small broken things that owner can easily fix to make the place more welcoming were not done. We were very close to abandoning the place and take the loss but there were no available options at the time. This is basically your last resort. "

"Hello, This is not a small hotel as the pictures seem to show. This is basically a place renting rooms to people arriving in the evening for an early morning rise to see sunrise on Mt Bromo. I have never seen rooms and bathrooms so dirty, the bed sheet were dirty. There is no reception at all. We were obviously not expected on arrival. Lucky my friend could speak indonesian to find some food in the evening and a driver for the next morning. Certainly not a place i would recommend to independent...
