Beautiful resort! Staff was helpful and kind. It was an excellent choice for us due to my mother and her friend having mobility issues. The beach was just outside the room so they could enjoy from the patio or a brief walk. Chairs were plentiful. Restaurants were close. Would choose again. Thank you for a lovely visit Avila!

As a solo female traveler, it is important for me to stay somewhere that makes me feel safe and comfortable. The Avila checked those boxes and more. It’s quite unassuming from the outside, but the grounds are absolutely beautiful, even with renovations taking place. The staff was pleasant and I felt at ease throughout my stay.

Family owned hotel. Gorgeous beaches. Staff so friendly with us and with each other. 5 minute walk to lovely restaurants if you fancy a change from the hotel dining. 15-20 minutes to cafes, and other shopping. Plus the floating bridge. Budget car rental in the hotel and if you decide to explore further. Totally recommend.

This was my wife’s and my first time in Curacao. Avila made it a wonderful experience due to its amenities, location, and staff. Property had two private beaches with plenty of chairs. The area was well maintained. Food was above average for resort food, but down the street there is 4-5 restaurants and the hotel is only 10 minute walk from downtown. What made the property stand out was the attention and friendliness of the staff.
