"I nicely put my skin care and cosmetics on the table and took a picture of it before left the room. But once I return to my room in the evening, some of my cosmetics didn't placed in the same position. Even my perfume which I put in the closed box, the box kept opened when I return to the room. Then we never asked for the cleaning service again on the next day."

"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "It is nice to have your own little cabin. My cabin was a bit old and dated but worked fine for me. Nice quiet location back away from the road. Only negative was bathroom smelled pretty terrible but with door shut couldn’t smell in room. "

"The property is beautiful. Room was nice but dark with only 2 windows. Staff very pleasant. Expedia site incorrect on services. No made to order breakfast. The 1st 2 days was a buffet and I am vegan so I had toast, fruit and coffee then had plain rice or french fries for dinner. No tour services or info. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs, dogs barking and roosters crowing all times of day. The close proximity to mae klang waterfall made for a nice walk and great place to have lunch along...

Magical Stay a Elephant Friends

"Our time at elephant Friends in Mae Wang was excellent. It was all that we expected and more. The staff is very attentive and polite. Be prepared to walk a bridge from the reception area to your room! It's actually quite cool. I had expected it since I saw it on a YouTube video. However, they will also let you know that as well. If you're expecting the city scape, this is not the place for you! This is rural living at its finest! River flowing, mountains in the landscape, trees, and oh, elephants! Those huge gentle animals. You can see that they are content! You will not be disappointed if you choose this place as a destination. "

Hot Room for 4 Hours but Food Good! 10,000btu a/c

"The room had SUN hitting the window all day! The room was 50 degrees and took 4 hours to get to 35 degrees! The room needs to be shaded from the Sun or run A/C 4 hours before guest arrive! We stayed here 4 times before but never on the HOT SUNNY SIDE of the Hotel! The Pool is Nice and the food brings us back each year! I will ask for a room on the shade side next time! I didn’t know! lol "
