"Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

The rooms had massive comfy beds and were cleaned daily with plenty of towels and extra tea, coffee and biscuits. My only quibble is that the rooms didn’t have internet tvs. "

"Great location to stay a couple of nights for a sad family occasion. Jasper on the front desk was great. Facilities are OK but not perfect. At breakfast even in non peak periods, basic items were missing and tables unkempt. However our room was spacious and we would stay again though not if we wanted to feel spoiled or as a particular treat. "

"It’s a quaint property in a lovely setting. The staff were very kind, helpful and caring. The room was spacious, clean, plenty of cupboard space, which is always helpful. Breakfast was very good. Dining menus both in the restaurant and bar, were varied and the food quality was very good. Overall we had a great stay."

"We really enjoyed our stay, lovely room, comfy bed, great shower and luxury coffee machine. The pub is very nice with fantastic breakfast. Great location. The only thing was the room was too hot, no way to turn off the heated towel rail in the bathroom, to be fair we should have just asked. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back."

"Although a 3* Hotel, the service we received was more in keeping with a 5*. Our room was clean, free of dust and mould, loved the decor. The swimming pool was a huge attraction for my grandchildren and we were able to continue using the facilities after we had officially checked out. Food was well presented and good sized portion. "
