"This was our second time at Fort Conde Inn. We stayed several years ago and loved it. The property consists of historic houses and cottages in a nice part of town. It has grown since we first stayed several years ago, but still has that wonderful, boutique feel. The rooms are wonderfully quaint but well equipped. The individual structures are connected by stone walkways in a neighborhood setting. The location is ideal, downtown and next to the cruise port. Our only minor complaint is the breakfast wasn't as good as it was our first time. Instead of being served on site as it was before, it is in an unattached restaurant across the street, and offers only basic breakfast fare of eggs, bacon, etc. All in all, a wonderful experience. We will definitely stay again when in the Mobile area."
