This was a perfect getaway for us. 20 min. away from Bretton Woods for skiing. The staff went above and beyond. Service in both the hotel and dining room was exceptional! I highly recommend this resort for both couples, groups, and families.

Beautifully Articulated Character in the original craftsmanship, detail, ambiance. The view was spectacular with breathtaking scenery. Our family has loved for years. It is a beautiful location and lovely historic building. We love visiting the on site farm. The area around the hotel has nice downtown to visit. We highly recommend the MVG.

No hot tub (know from someone who recently visited has been out of service for awhile) axe throwing not available entire weekend, “fire pit” for s’mores both evenings terrible/ fire barely going no means of building it up

Clean, but be prepared for high resort fees

Decent stay for leaf peaking in Northern New Hampshire. Hotel is very clean. Only complaint is the high resort fee for very little.
