"What a happy accident. We made a very last minute decision to have a stay on the North Norfolk Coast and picked The Maltings almost by sticking a pin in the list. It turned out we had chosen one of the finest hotels we could have found and the location was perfect. "Hotel room was perfect for a family very comfy beds and pillows, shower was a delight felt like i was getting a massage. Swimming pool was nice but changing rooms and toilets needed cleaning very dirty and run down. Food was very dissapointing and restaurant washy even open on the Tuesday night so had to find somewhere to eat. Breakfast was poor 13.95 for a full english and left a lot to desire for portion size and taste. Had some cheesy chips for lunch that were undercooked and tasteless....

"I stopped for one night on business and found it to be a real gem. Lovely friendly team and amazing restaurant with high end menu choices and very well cheffed food. It was Tuesday evening and they looked fully booked for food which said a lot to me. Great selection of beers too. Parking on site was free and had a lovely breakfast in the morning nd great chat with the owner in relation to its aerospace connections. Overall would stay again 100%"

"I have stayed in many places and I can safely say this was one of my top three! Cozy clean super comfortable the surrounding ( the village) quaint and gorgeous friendly bar downstairs gave first drink on the house for guests the breakfast was delicious and homemade wonderful service bed unbelievably comfortable I could move in !
