"Wonder place that is contemporary and clean and the whole hotel area is welcoming. I never saw any staff but that is the way the hotel is set up. Was no problem for us. We took a little hike in the back woods and loved sitting with a coffee in the morning in the chairs out back looking at the scenery. "

"Enjoyable walking distance to stores and restaurants. Comfortable room with updated bathroom. We wished the golf course had been manicured to where we could enjoy our game without loosing the balls in long grass. The tennis courts were fantastic. Great indoor and outdoor pool. Have stayed here many times and will return."

"Like a mom and pop motel. Liked the self check in. First time like it for us. Cozy little room for continental breakfast. Not much seating, but this was during a quiet season, so saw only one other couple. Kind of hard to see the motel at night. Drove by it twice in the dark, plus the elevation of the motel was downhill from the road. Nice room, but wished the tv was on the wall and not sitting on a desk. Room was nice and served our purpose. A little ways from center downtown but ok. "

"Easy parking, nice facilities that were clean. Great water pressure and vanity area. Would stay here again if we were back in the area!"

"I would stay here again. Been to 15 motels on our trip. This had one of the best looking made bed of all of them. Nice bed cover. Motel is older. Landscaping needs work for better presentation. Shower had a little wooden window at top. Had mold and needs painting badly. The bottom of the shower looked bad. A woman would not shower in it. It was by far the worse shower on the trip. Price wise was a decent price for the area."

"Great owners, homey, very friendly and so close to Manchester and all the shops and restaurants!! Must go to Ye Olde Tavern for dinner!! Best meals ever! Will go back again. Must bring your own drinks though bar is no longer open. "

"Well located smart inn, in a lovely town. Good breakfast, staff were very engaging; Tom in particular, was very welcoming and and could make you smile. He did an excellent margarita. Lovely, expansive grounds, nice pool area and easy parking. Quiet with a comfy bed and decent shower. Would definitely recommend."

"Having dined here in the past we decided to make a stay at the inn as well as enjoy a nice dinner. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Dinner was excellent. Breakfast basket was appreciated but could be improved somewhat. Will definitely come back "

"We loved our stay here! This historic inn is situated right between the towns of Manchester and Bennington, so although there is not a lot in the immediate area, you can drive 10-15 miles along the main road in either direction and have lots of things to do and places to eat. The inn has spacious rooms, a nice breakfast buffet and cookies offered in the evening, along with a spa and massage area. All of the staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome and we definitely recommend...

"Clean, spacious rooms with cooktop and refrigerator. The best part for me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. When I inquired about EV charging stations nearby ( our rental car was an EV and we were legitimately concerned about having enough power for our return trip) the owner actually loaned us his personal charger to use overnight. You won't find that level of generosity at a big chain hotel. Will definitely stay here anytime we're in Manchester."
