"Overnight stay in Peterborough to catch a show at the New Theatre which is 5 minutes walk up the road. Checked in with ease, friendly lady to greet us, check in was super quick. "Outstanding! One of the best equipped places I’ve stayed in. Located right in the centre with easy access to restaurants and shops. It’s a few minutes walk from Tesco and car parks are a few minutes walk away. House has no parking but it’s free between 6pm to 8pm and the first hour is free between those hours. House is lovely and over three stories and I will definitely use it again. "

"Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rivernene Cottages. Hosts Stephen and Phil were amazing and could not do enough for all the guests. We stayed in the Yew Tree Cottage, as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) this was perfect! The entire place is immaculately kept. "The caravan its self was ok. a little dated and obviously had dogs in there before we were there. However the communication with Linden Lodgings who look after the booking is shocking. I have been trying to get the damage deposit back from them for 11 days now with no communication back at all. The communication with Hazel has been awful from the point of booking. Not picking up the phone nor responding to emails"

"Will stay here again. No parking outside the property, but there is a car park which is to pay for. Everything you need in the apartment. Only downside was that there was a rancid smell coming from the kitchen , which made you feel sick. So sprayed perfume all over it. Wasn't enough forks to feed the three of us. Will be back again "

"The hotel is faded (think 1980s) but clean. The manager told me that the redecoration is is in process.The staff were lovely, as was the swimming pool and steam room. The weather was dreadful so we couldn't explore the grounds but if the price is right, we will probably go back, so may have another opportunity!"

"Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and was close to the city centre. Breakfast was average, a good selection but as it was buffet style its hit and miss. Room was spacious, shower had good pressure but the shower door was not the best and the water was spraying out on the bathroom floor. Bed was a good size but the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were not the softest too. Overall we were impressed with the hotel and would definitely stay again. "

"The city centre is within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is marvellous, choose between continental, cooked or both. The hotel is on the main road, so during school and home time it is very busy and you can hear the cars, but at night it is very quiet. My room is number 22, on the front door, also on the road, and I could hear all the noises, from the very early baggage landings and cars. The executive room is very spacious, has a walk-in shower and 2 armchairs and a coffee table. The toilet system is old so you hear and wake up when someone flushes the toilet. The location to the city is good, but next time we will choose a quieter place. "
