"Wow what can l say, the hotel is in the most perfect location, right on the beach. The room was spacious and the bed so comfortable. A special mention to the guys on the reception desk, they were so friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were upgraded to an ocean view room, was given a glass of champagne and because it was my daughter’s birthday, they sent up a bottle of champagne to her suite. Service absolutely outstanding, can’t wait to stay at the Grand hotel again. Thank you "

"Found this hotel online and didn't expect too much based on the price. The reviews were pretty good so we booked it. But it was fantastic. The only disadvantage was where hotel was located, quite a few homeless people who were clearly under the influence, seem to be around the area. But in saying that, it is a great location where we were able to walk to all places in and around Adelaide. Breakfast was great too! "

"This is a nice hotel very close to everything in Adelaide. We used public transportation - very convenient. The pool is nice although difficult to find a shady place to sit. The room was very comfortable even if our view was a concrete wall. The staff are helpful and friendly. Its an 8.5/10. I deducted a half point for the old orange chairs that look like they came from the 70’s "

"I love the location of this hotel. Its only 2 tram stops from the train station/casino. The tram is free in the city area. There are also buses running along North Terrace. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. "
