"The staff were great and the rooms cleaned well each day. The building though is a little dated and could do with remodeling. Outside was dirty and chaotic like most of Jakarta but this is not the fault of the hotel. Probably wont visit Jakarta again but if I did I would stay and the Menara Peninsular again."

"Finally much feedback on the shower room. They have changed the shower head. The hot and cold water still comes intermittently but with the new shower head it’s slightly better. The lounge service staff are very nice and polite but not sure what happened. For breakfast order (eggs) you need to wait 20-35min to get your food. If you are in a hurry then is too long of a wait. Seems short handed. "

"Spent 7 days and recommend the hotel Very Friendly staff Buffet breakfast was wonderful! Pool was nice Took 1/2 hour from airport There is a grocery and liquor store next to the hotel There is a Taxi stop right at the bottom of the hotel. 1/2 hour to go to Gambir train station 1/2 hour walk to the Mandiri Bank museum which I recommend, ask well as the other museums around. "

"I booked for 5 nights & on the first night itself I had to change the room. The bathroom had a leak right above the toilet. The second room had bad aircon, changed again & the third room didn't have door lock to the balcony. Changed again, this time the main door look was not working. Mini refrigerators in all 4 rooms were stinking. 2 days they couldn't provide me with the bottled water. The room was never cleaned properly,"
