"Hotel is a bit dated but in a great location. You can't be any closer to the night market and there are lots of great food options. We stayed several nights with Chiayi as a base. It was very quiet until someone checked into the room above us. On that night, it was clear that the soundproofing is non-existent. A bit tricky for light sleepers."

Breakfast had a lot of varieties and quite tasty, We had to leave early for the bus to Alishan so the hotel prepared a whole set of disposable containers and cutlery for us to pack the food to-go.
