Good value in North Amsterdam. Had issues with check in but was sorted out easily with staff onsite ( in another area of the set of apartment/building complexes). Apartment had a comfortable king sofa bed that was made for or arrival. Upstairs had a comfortable queen bed; stairs are steep so may be difficult with mobility issues Had washer in our unit that was well used. Free use of the local gym. Extra towels available in the communal laundry area ( in a separate building). Air conditioning on main and second level. There is a free ferry from centraal station; the closet one is to NDSM and is a 15 minute walk to the building; not much to see on this walk since it’s very industrial. A grocery store is near the ferry dock.
Minor negatives were 1) the only bathroom/ shower is on the second floor 2) you are in an industrial that doesn’t have as many restaurants as central Amsterdam ( there is one in the building that looked well visited but we didn’t try) 3) was not easy getting an Uber/Bolt in the area.
Overall, because the unit was well kept, comfortable, spacious enough for 4 people, and fairly convenient when visiting central Amsterdam, I would definitely stay here again when visiting Amsterdam.

This is a typically quaint traditional Amsterdam hotel, with steep stairs (no lift) and canal views (from some rooms).
It's currently under renovation and needs some updating but rooms are having air conditioning fitted and the lobby has had an update which looks much more professional.
The staff are all really lovely and helpful and any issues quickly and efficiently dealt with.
So for any prospective visitors bear in mind that it is a project under way, but at the end of the day, it's a place to sleep when visiting and the rooms are comfortable.
A major plus is the daily FREE 'Happy Hour' (16.00 - 18.00) with beer, wines, coffee and snacks provided.
Would we go back, most certainly!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Multiple historic canal homes which have been renovated into a stylish and spacious hotel. So charming! The service was top notch and the beds are absolutely luxurious.
