"We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!"

"Talkhouse is 15 mins from Oxford and we arrived in bad weather, room and pub very cost and staff are outstanding..so great. If there's any negative, I think cleaning details like corner, ledges, handles need attention, and an entrance may as it's an outside chalet.breakfast great and it's stay again.. it feels good to be there."

"We stayed overnight whilst visiting family in Oxford, and found it found it easy to check in, with friendly staff. We took breakfast and although it was an additional £10 per person we were happy with the variety and quality of the food. Overall we enjoyed our time there."

"The staff were very pleasant. the room, shower, mattress and power points were all very adequate. The lighting over the desk seemed less than adequate, though (the only small niggle in an otherwise superb accommodation. The variety available at breakfast at a relatively small cost was extremely good. A very pleasurable experience. We hope to stay again. "

Excellent Conifers.

"My Conifers Guest House stay was very good indeed. From a friendly early check in, to breakfast at only £10, but with plenty to eat and hot food options too. Room 11 was large and quiet. It was also well equipped with fridge, microwave plus plates, cutlery, kettle, tea/coffee and milk provided. There was even stuff to wash up with. The wi-fi was good and strong and I had no problems working on my laptop there one day. If I did have a minor criticism, it would be that when asked if I required the room cleaning on the day I was working, I said no thanks, but I did want some more milk cartons, they never arrived, nor was I told they weren't available. But in the big scheme of things, it's hardly worth worrying about. "
