We stayed at the Hampton Inn Downtown Cedar Falls Iowa. Staff was great, but we had no heat in our room the first night. The staff tried to get us heat but was unsuccessful. We had to sleep in our coats. The hotel was booked so we had no other room to be put in. We payed 2x more than what the rooms normally cost due to the NCAA Wrestling Tournament going on which we were attending. You would think for that price we would have heat in the room. The hallway and lobby was warmer than our room the 1st night. The next morning i went to the front desk a 3rd time and told them we still had no heat. They were finally able to put us in a different room the nezt night.

Checking in was informed 2nd floor rooms had no air conditioning. Room had very poor lighting. Made it work. No other room available for 1st night. Moved to 3rd floor for 2nd night . Much improved accommodation. Only offered a semi upgrade for my inconvenience. 😪
