"Staff were fabulous. Place is older but kept well. There is a mismatch between the description of the room and the reality. Don't expect a balcony or safe and you might need to ask to get a room with a fridge. But overall we had an easy and comfortable stay."

"This is a lovely boutique hotel adorned with antique toy memorabilia. The restaurant offers a fantastic setting on the canal that’s full of wildlife. The property itself is surrounded by coconut farms. It’s a short drive to several floating markets, the train market and temples. The pool is quiet and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. "The owners make us felt at home. The old couple who managed this are so friendly and I love their Thai style fish congee for breakfast. Their son is also very kind. He came during breakfast to check on our well being if we slept well for the night. He even drove us to the bus stop where we headed for Mae klong train station. We absolutely love this cozy & homey place : )"

"Beautiful and exceptionally clean property. Everything is thoughtfully decorated and the breakfast is amazing. Most exceptional was staff. The lady at reception organised us a whole morning of activities with a personal tuk tuk and when we returned our taxi to Bangkok was already waiting. She went above and beyond and we will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone"

"Baan Chompoo Homestay is very clean and only 5 minutes walk to Amphawa Floating market. Breakfast was reasonable though not the best shower we had, but we were happy with out stay. You can catch songtheaw (public open ute) from across the road to go to Maeklong train market for 8baht per person so very cheap. No taxi available, however private car to Bangkok about 1200baht - The owner was nice to call and organise one when we requested."
