But it has held on to the irritating habit (now abandoned by most top hotels, especially in European cities) of having a minibar that, if you move an object (say, to cool the bottle of room-temperature water that is provided to guests) you are immediately charged. In my case,$49, which I happened to notice on my electronic checkout. The woman at the front desk kindly removed it...

Afterward, I saw customers standing where I stood and same staff checked them in and gave me a stare b/c she saw me looking at her to see how she was handling that situation. Staff know she was WRONG!!! Overall GREAT stay."
