"We had a wonderful stay at Chambre d'Hotes L'Ancienne Ecole. It is a beautiful period property in the lovely town of La Wantzenau. Katia is an amazing host, with passionate knowledge of the Alsace area. Nothing was too much trouble, with a tasty French breakfast each morning. "The hotel is sutuated in a great area. I chose it for the location and parking. I was informed at check in to park at the cathedral parking, when I realized that it had a 3 hour maximum I returned and asked if there was other parking available. That is when I was told there was parking for $35 at hotel. I was a bit perturbed that this was not mentioned when I 1st asked but after I had wasted a couple of hours and money. "This was my third stay in the last decade and I would never stay anywhere else in Strasbourg. Wonderful location, 5 minutes from the Cathedral and 12 minutes from the opera, wonderful, friendly, multilingual helpful staff. Great breakfasts. A top notch hotel."

"It is a lovely hotel. The room is beautiful and spacious. It has a mix of tradition with modern finishes. There is a lot of attention to detail in the design, furnishing, and amenities. "This hotel is perfect. It is only a short train ride to the city center. There is a grocery store in the same parking lot. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice and new. The Breakfast is delicious and the staff is sweet. This is my favorite city I have been to in Europe so far. "

"Very nice stay. Property was well located, modern and in the city centre. Staff were friendly. It was very warm in the rooms though, and we were unable to cool the rooms due to the air conditioning not being allowed in the winter, making it slightly uncomfortable to sleep in."

"Hotel Beaucour is the perfect location if you are driving to Strasbourg. It is just outside of the city center so parking garages are easier to find. It’s truly only a 5-10 min walk to get to the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful and the decor was cute and welcoming. "

"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The staff were courteous and helpful. A nice atmosphere and convenient location. We stayed in one of the renovated rooms by the park which was very comfortable, spacious, and quiet. There are plenty of places to relax around the property. It was the perfect way to visit and explore Strasbourg while also getting a château experience. "
