"A really modern and clean hotel in a fantastic location in Xi’an, walkable to Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Muslim Quarter and all of central Xi’an. The room was comfortable and nicely designed. "Liked- Good location, spacious room and excellent staff behaviour. Reasonably good spread for breakfast. Disliked- The property is old and seemed to be a little short of maintenance. A little more attention can be given towards cleanliness. Breakfast was good but whatever else we ordered was not as good like everywhere else in China."

"I never write detailed reviews, but this hotel deserve it, so others know what they will find. This hotel is terrible, but don't believe me, look at the pictures yourself. First, try to find it! no directions, indications or clues on the hotel location. We found it by reading a guest review from 2019!. Not a single word of english, so be prepared to use translator intensively (not a problem of the hotel, just a recommendation). No front desk, just another room where it seems the attendant is...

"The service, location, and amenities in the hotel were fantastic. It is much older than in the pictures. The furniture, carpets, walls etc are all old and/or damaged. However because the rest is good, I would stay again. "

"None to very little English and they put up a brief fight to refuse advertised internet until we showed them their advert. Even then internet access very limited. Seems staff think it easier to just say no to everything, no smiles although that seems common. Just a smile and I would have doubled their score. "The building and the room has the old english theme which is very unique. i totally understand if the hotel management want to keep to the theme but some refurbishments are needed as the room look worn out i.e bathroom tiles, the cabinets, carpets. Overall, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. "
