"We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

"Perfect for the start of our holiday. Large apartment with everything needed to prepare own meals (we didn’t as eating out is very inexpensive) and close to a large supermarket. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. We walked or used a tuk tuk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Recommended. "

"Old villa in heart of Colombo , tastefully renovated , quiet and clean . Very comfortable bed , clean kitchen and good food . Mr Asangha Perera and his team at the admin desk were very capable and attentive . He was in touch with us few days before our arrival , and since we were arriving late , took an order and made sure our dinner was delivered on our arrival . "

"Property was clean in general, but needs to be maintained. Cupboard was broken, furniture was stained, pool area needs some love too, not inviting at all. Breakfast was generally ok when it arrived on time. Communication online was good but face to face was difficult and we speak the language. Would I stay in this apartment again the answer would be no."

"The landlord met us in the apartment. They were nice. There was a supermarket close by. Comfortable beds. Okay rooftop pool. Easy to take a tuk tuk to sights."

"One of the worst hospitality service ever. Won't get a towel, bedsheet or toiletries. No cleanliness and smelly dusty rooms. No room service. Swimming pool with decayed leaves and house full of mosquitoes. Broken room locks and the bonus is you won't get water in toilet. Needless to say a poor management by owner and totally irresponsible behaviour. Please don't waste your money by looking at beautiful pics of the villa. Save your money for better stay. "WOW. We walked in and realized that there are security cameras everywhere and the fact that the caretaker was to stay with us is not advertised at all. We didnt feel comfortable so we just left.. the worst part? Hotels.com was never able to reach the manager, so we never got refunded for the money. we did NOT stay here, so i would think twice before staying here. One night stay in Colombo before flight

"Stay itself was great and for leisure travelers is perfect for mid tier hotels. Infinity pool and incredibly comfortable room. Personally i thought the breakfast and gym was poor, however i had come from the Hilton so in fairness for half the price this plsce is probably better value for a normal person. Plus a normal person would appreciate bscon and eggs moresk than myself. Do recommend hotel for those wanting a luxury room at a great price, personally i wouldn’t stay again unless i planned in advance to avoid the breakfast and not go to the gym"

"Beautiful property. Far exceeded my expectations. Service was incredible. The room was so luxurious and the property grounds were lovely. I wish I stayed longer because the breakfast for my one night stay was so delicious and I would have liked to enjoy that for a few more days! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone I know. "
