"My usual hotel appeared to have been fully booked so I decided to give the IJsselhotel, sorry the Pillows Luxury Boutique Hotel Aan De IJssel a try. The location is amazing, right across from the town on the river. To get to the other side there is a small ferry throughout the day. My room was amazing. "Great was welcomed and upgraded on arrival, to a room with air con, staff were very friendly and helpful, the only negative is I felt that the breakfast was overpriced, however it was presented very well and each day was a different treat. But at nearly 30 euros including tax this was a bit excessive for breakfast."

"Overall we enjoyed the place. The staff was nice at check-in and check-out. Didn't talk to them. Did notgo to the snack bar / cafe. Did not use the pool as it was was 50F. There is an stove top and refrigerator. There is a really nice trail near by. I didn't know how to turn on the radiator. Fortunately, a friend of mine who visited helped. "There is nothing not to like about Hotel de Zwaan en it's restaurant. Both the hotel and the restaurant staff are very friendly. The restaurant has a unique menu and I enjoyed my veal dish thoroughly. The breakfast was excellent. My room was large and quiet. The bed comfortable. Nice shower."
