"This place is even better than the reviews give it credit for. It's modern, spacious, and the customer service is attentive. It has a pool, and although it does not have a gym, there's a really wonderful park with running trails next door. On top of that, it's quite literally steps away from Melrose Arch, close enough to food and attractions, but far enough to be quiet at night. I've stayed in many different places in the city, and this may be my new go-to place to stay in Joburg!"

When we had an issue with our stove, the staff quickly responded with a replacement. We did have someone (who was possibly intoxicated?) try to get into our apartment at night while we were staying there, which was startling. That is not my opinion-the desk clerk escorted us to the grocery and back, made sure our Uber was in front before we left the lobby, etc. The area is not rundown. "Most convenient hotel at the airport. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food (at least Breakfast) was good, fresh, and hot. Have stayed before and will stay again. Note that one of our bags was delayed (International flight) for 5 hours. It was perfect to stay across from baggage services. "

Amazing place with beautiful people.

"The staff is the heart of the hotel. Each one of them were amazing. To name a few, Zama, Miriam, Ivy, xolani, Jimmy, the two Thomas, Justice, Zoe, Kenny, and the rest became like family to me. The staff at Perere, at the Club House and at the Cafeteria made me feel special. The housekeeping personnel was also exceptional. I felt comfortable leaving my personal items out when they were cleaning. They didn't steal anything. The hotel has almost everything to make your enjoyable in every aspect. It has a business center, Barber shop, a grocery store and much more. The only issue I have with the hotel owners and management are the low wages they pay their staff. For such a high standard hotel and highly qualified staff that give exceptional services, the wage is not at par with the quality of services offered."

"Great facility, friendly staff and delicious food. We were able to catch the hop on hop off bus just around the corner and access lots of sights that way. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Nelson Mandela Square, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommended this stay. "
