"Everything is fine at Hilton Sofia, but just a bit far away from old town which takes around 30 min. walking distance. The female receptionists are more friendly, the male receptionists are not that friendly. The guy in the morning of Oct.07 around 8am on the reception who helped to call a tax and the guy in the morning of Oc5.12 around 9:30am who helped to check out, both attitudes towards customers should be trained more, not friendly driven. That's why I couldn't give higher rate. "

"Perfect for what we needed and for what we paid! Room was a good size, shower was lovely and hot! Breakfast was spot on and plentiful! Close to Vitosha Street and walkable for all sights! Note: Visit Vitosha Mountain if you can - Take the metro to Vitosha and then catch the 66 Bus to the very end, beautiful view of the city!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Aurora Sofia. While it is in Central Sofia, you are looking at a 20-30 min walk minimum to places like Vitosha Blvd, museums and so on. I love walking, so that’s not an issue for me. The hotel is a 5-8 min walk from Opalcheska station, so don’t even bother taking a taxi from the airport. If you’ve never been to Eastern Europe before and aren’t used to EE hospitality, please don’t think anyone is being cold to you - it’s really not the case. Everyone at the front...

Clean, basic and well located

"This is a great place if you're not looking for something fancy. It's got all the basic amenities plus a little more if you take an apartment. It's clean and kept and best of all you can walk to all the major tourist spots. Also very well connected with underground/subway systems."
