"Sapphire Bay Villa 1, very spacious and clean. Villa needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to Luxury price that the owners are requiring. Everything was working fine but a few fixtures and furnishings are old and need replacing. We had a lovely stay and the Manageress Mrs Va and Joe the maintenance man looked after us well. They are what made our stay excellent. We would definitely stay again but hopefully the price reflects the condition of the villa next time."

"It was perfect for our extended families needing to stay close to Nadi International Airport (5 min drive) for an early morning flight to Australia or, in our case, a late flight to Canada. Thank you to the hosts for allowing us to check out at 7 pm. Plenty of bedrooms exist for large or multiple families, each with its own ensuite. "Good location, caring hosts, quiet neighborhood, close to shops and Nadi Airport Minor issue on showers (mixing hot and cold is tricky), privacy can be improved with introduction of blinds, shower screens can be improved with sliding screens."

"The property was good, but a little tired and needs some refurbishment , room was fine but self catering was a bit tricky regards utensils dish cloths no plugs for sinks , so made it a bit harder to clean up, pool ok for a dip , but needs new beds and brollys for shade , staff were very friendly and helpful , a little bit over priced but enjoyed our stay "

"The apartment was dirty. The check-in was difficult as the contact did not answer the phone until the third try. Communication with him was sporadic and unhelpful. The villa was not what we expected. The outdoor furniture is not what is shown in the pictures. We would not recommend this accommodation and will not stay there again."

"For the price paid, the apartment was not ready for us to check in and we spent over an hour waiting for the cleaner to finish. The cleanliness wasn’t great either. There were no washing liquid and kitchen towels. The pillows and beddings looked like they were not washed either. The floors weren’t mopped as we could still see dirt on the tiles. "

"At first I was a bit concerned about booking a hotel so close to the airport. However, it turned out to be close enough to all the places that I wanted to see and/or the hotel is a stop for tour operators. The room was clean, comfortable and right near the beautiful pool. You can order food from the bar, your room or sit in the restaurant. It was all good, but sometimes I did feel like it was taking a tag bit long to receive my order. Part of it is they don't rush you here. The staff was very sweet and always had a ready smile. I especially appreciated Seni. However, I was shocked by 2 things: 1) They charge for wifi usage $75 FJD for a week and 2) they wanted to charge me $5 FJD/ towel if I took the otherwise free beach towels with me on a tour!!!"

"Really a superb hotel to stay in for a getaway. Staff are really amazingly helpful.A huge lobby for you to sit and relax with cafes and restaurants to choose from. The menus are incredible in all restaurants. Amazing place."

"Serenity Island Resort is a true South Pacific experience. Serenity is private, peaceful, and unique. It was my favorite Fiji place. The staff is so friendly. Our room was close to the water so you could hear the waves. If you want the perfect, polished, crowded hotel then this is not for you. The hotel was clean and tidy but the undeveloped part of island needs trash and brush cleanup."
