"Yanet was an amazing host who meant it when she said, “Mi casa es su casa.” The room was impeccably clean and we had a sitting room where we could relax, see the human traffic passing by and a table to eat or play games. "A lovely family run casa. Friendly and helpful. Whatever we asked for - a walking tour, a bicycle, a taxi - it was no problem and provided straight away. Jorge and Ana Luisa and their family kept the accommodation and grounds spotless and provided us with wonderful home cooked meals on two occasions. Excellent, quiet location at one end of the town within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars."

"Booked this casa based on its location, terrace and private garden and it did not disappoint. This was our favourite casa and also the friendliest. Lovely couple with a chatty little girl. Very helpful when we asked about renting scooters and where to go. We ate breakfast there every day and also had dinner there a couple of nights. They are good cooks and the price was very reasonable. Location is great as it's an easy stroll into town. We loved the little garden and the views from the terrace...

"It is a very difficult time to live in Cuba right now. There is only limited electricity and Wi-Fi so it is hard for any hosts to provide what customers want and pay for. They did their best but you can really feel the pressure on the people who live here. They have a generator which really improves things and they do their best to offer a good service. The breakfasts are good (big!) and there was a fridge in the room with beer, water etc. The swimming pool was great, although with a lack of electricity it looked quite soupy by the end of our 5 day stay and we didn’t want to swim. "
