"Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high)."
"If you like old towns with history and want to stay in an old coaching inn (logis de france), then stay here! It is old but cleaned very well. The restaurant (also dining room for breakfast) is beautiful. Le monsieur (owner) is a excellent chef and madame serves meals for an elegant and unhurried evening. often only 4-6 other tables dining. We stayed for 3 weeks and loved Loches and the Hotel de France!"

We stayed on a Sunday and the restaurant was closed. We went out for dinner and returned around 9.30pm and the bar area was closed. It looked lovely and would have been nice to sit and enjoy a drink."
