bar was closed which was a shame during the daytime heat . The service in the restaurant was a bit slow but the food was very good and not overly priced. We would definitely stay here again as the hotel is very central and the town of Penafiel is lovely"

"Overall nice hotel, the breakfast was good and the view from the top is amazing. Parking is a little tight, staff very welcoming and accommodating. They do have an issue with flies, around the main entrance and on the roof. If you open the window in your room, the flies will find their way in. "

This is a small village but very good experience.
