"I was truly expecting a much nicer Riad at this per night price. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff were super nice. I will begin with the worst. I got poisoning from the breakfast! I was sick for 24 hours. They must monitor the food service and make sure everything is fresh. The room was extremely small and not well designed. The bathroom was a total disgrace. It was not clean and rusted. AWFUL. I have been at other Riads, which were lower priced and were a thousand...

"Our stay here was lovely. The Riad was a former grand home converted beautifully into a hotel. Food was good, rooms were spacious and comfy. Service was fine but little English was spoken. Location was perfect-it is right in the middle of the Medina and near the sea."

"The Riad El Maati is traditional and yet modern and functional inside the room. It’s an easy 20 min walk from the train station. It has electrical outlets in the right places, plenty of wardrobe shelves, and built-in wall heaters. The terrace deck is stunning too. "This Riad was one of the best places we gave stayed in Morocco. Location was not too far into the medina and very easy to find. Unlike other riads in Fes and other cities, we didn't realize how deep into the medina they are located and to walk for a long time with luggage( cars are not allowed in these areas) became a struggle.We wete also only a 15min walk to the oceanside where we had a lovely seafood meal while watching the ocean tide at sunset. Aziz and Aziza were very nice easy to communicate with and guided us with any questions we had. The rooms ( we got a suite) were beautifully appointed, beds super comfortable and details like usb ports, lighting, closet space with authentic antique Morrocan furnishings set us back in time like Royalty- we even had rose petals on our bed! The bathroom was tiled in gorgeous blue green tiles and mirtors, fitted with modern yet classic features. The breakfast was a true delight as Moroccan breakfasts go but again, lovely table setting, hot coffee& tea, fresh padtries anc breads, juice etc. Al in all, I highly recommend Risd Al Mazhar for thise staying in Rabat. "
