"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"The room smelled really bad, like old and rancid. The bed sheets had a strong foul mothy smell like they haven’t been washed in months. The bathroom walls were dirty and stained. The balcony had no table or chairs. The tv is very small, very bad quality picture and no Netflix or cable. "

"Very disappointed, the host made you feel more like an intruder than a guest. Would not recommend as after six months of travelling around South America this is the worst stay I’ve had anywhere. "

I didn’t like the small unlit sign at the road, the dirty driveway is in poor conditions, no visibility on top of the hill plus big potholes, the property sits at a steep angle to the ocean requiring big steps stairs to access the room or the pool. "Amazing stay. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. Rooms were clean, good breakfast, and we could store our luggage at the front desk during the day which was nice!"

"Hendjel and the team were fantastic at this beautiful location and they are here to help with anything you need. This place feels like a secret paradise on a desert island. The food was mind blowing with great chefs for breakfast and dinner. we saw a turtle swimming by one morning while having breakfast ! The beach located close to the resort is wonderful and there are some great hikes to the main town and waterfalls. Amazing ! "
