Unfortunately Marriott forgot the Renaissance was a high end brand, actually switched from Hilton because of our previous experience, unfortunately the service wasn't great. Tne checkin was bad, the housekeeping showed up at 730 pm and offered towels, woke us up the next day early, and bar staff was scattered. Needs an intervention! Happy we havent booked any more Marriott property this trip.

3 key cards needed to find a room with short dark hairs in the bed. We then were given a new room which was nice enough but not impressive or perfect. Oddly expensive breakfast buffet and restaurant, luckily there's a lovely pub across the street and a grocery store. It's a North American 3 star hotel, not a 4.

The renaissance was great for our large family (triple rooms!). I need a fridge for insulin and these rooms had it, although I was disappointed that no employee could fine a freezer for my ice packs for traveling with insulin. Housekeeping always forgot to refill things in the room but they were quick to respond when I called. Great location for the ubahn with grocery stores and restaurants close by. Would stay again without hesitation.

The hotel was nice but the staff was terrible. Reception was staffed with trainees and they didn’t get any help from the rest of their teammates. Staff at the restaurant was terrible also.

Hotel and facilities were good! Housekeeping was pretty bad! Bed was not made, coverlet was just arranged over the bed. Stayed 5 nights, room was never vacuumed. Phone /bedside lamp did not work , was not attended to. Had to request 3 times for shower body soap to be refilled. Reception and restaurant staff were excellent!

It’s a really nice hotel. Great view from where I was and very clean. The only downside was that we expected a pool and there isn’t and their sauna is not that good.

Indifferent staff
Nicely located hotel, right opposite the U4 metro line. Well appointed hotel and rooms. However, the reception staff were at best indifferent. The house keeping staff did not replace something we used from the coffee making facilities and the reception staff could not source me 2 packets of coffee creamer. One said, rather rudely, it was after 8 pm. He could do nothing. The other did in Vienna the things are not replaced. Really. Disappointed in Renessaince.
